Holly Scott has more than 25 years of executive experience in media, sales, and marketing for a range of home design luxury media brands. As Chief Marketing Officer for TRIO, she spearheads the firm’s brand, product development, and external and internal marketing initiatives.
Before joining TRIO, Scott served as Vice President and Group Publisher for Wiesner Media’s and Network Communications’ brands, Mountain Living and Colorado Homes & Lifestyles. Under her direction, the brands undertook a variety of strategic marketing initiatives, audience acquisitions, and industry partnerships that grew quality readership and doubled magazine revenues from 2008 to 2015.
For two decades, Scott’s leadership experience and track record of bolstering sales and marketing while growing reach and super-serving the client journey has proven instrumental in the interior design and product design space.
She has groomed sales teams and grown revenue streams through strong sales development, training, operations, and mentorship. Scott authored “Sales University,” a weekly training program she developed and continues to use today.
Scott has worked extensively with integrated and digital media, including site development, wireframe design, visitor experience and product monetization.
In her career, she launched six luxury Home Design websites and is currently overseeing an integrated Portfolio of Brands launch for TRIO, By Angela Harris, and Bode & Well—the firm’s interior design, educational, and product brand suite.
Scott was selected as one of Denver Business Journal’s C-Suite Award honorees in 2022, Folio Magazine’s 2017 “Women of the Year” for Mentorship and Denver Business Journal’s 2022 and 2017 “Outstanding Women in Business”.
She has also been a popular presenter or speaker at the national Niche Media Conferences, American Society of Interior Designers, Denver Design District Launches, American Institute of Architects Awards, Cherry Arts Board of Directors (2018 Chair), Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Conferences, Home Builders Association Innovation Summit, International Builders Show, Pacific Coast Building Conference, National Kitchen & Bath Awards, Summit County Parade of Homes, Professional Women in Building Keynote, and Up With People Young Professional Leader.
Scott has been featured on Colorado’s Best TV Show, Colorado & Company, 9News, and Vail TV8 television shows for various promotions. She also co-wrote and co-hosted more than 20 Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Colorado televised episodes.
She has hosted a Women in Business seminar and appeared on a national video-cast to coach young women professionals about building confidence and creating work-life balance. One of her passions is offering mentorship to high-school and college students about a career in media and marketing.
Scott enjoys yoga, playing tennis, music, and appreciating art. Her favorite pastime is spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons
