Matthew Napier ’22

Matthew Napier has been in the Denver homebuilding and residential development industry for close to a decade. He started his career doing land acquisitions and entitlements as a Land Acquisition Specialist and then quickly rose through the ranks, holding positions such as Corporate Land Manager for Century Communities and Vice President for Richmond American Homes. Matthew then transitioned to the land development side of the business, where he started the Denver Division for one of the nation’s leading residential lot developers, Forestar. Matthew helped grow the Forestar pipeline and built a solid team of employees to expand the brand and presence in the Colorado markets. Currently, Matthew works as a Vice President for Tri Pointe Homes focusing on acquisitions and entitlements. Prior to joining the building and development industry, Matthew also owned/operated a business in the health and wellness sector, and managed territories across the country during a successful career in the healthcare industry.

Matthew attended the University of North Texas for his undergraduate degree and then went on to receive his master’s degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. Matthew strongly believes that a focus on self-development and continued education / ongoing learning is fundamental to career advancement and success.
