Scott Dergance ’25

A talented and experienced residential and commercial architect, Scott Dergance is a principal at KGA Studio Architects, where he designs homes and amenities for regional and national homebuilders and developers. During his more than 25-year career, he has directed architectural teams, led business development efforts, and been responsible for the design of hundreds of new construction home plans.

With a focus on collaboration, his expertise spans leading design projects from conceptualization to completion, consensus building, and meticulous attention to every detail. Dergance is known for his ability to create beautiful, functional, and buildable designs that meet the moment—he understands what buyers want in their dream home and what builders need to meet their metrics.

Dergance holds an MSAAD from Columbia University’s School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. When he’s not reviewing redlines or walking a project with a client, he’s exploring a new hiking trail or pursuing his passion project of creating digital art.
